Vacancy Description:

A Tier 1 Investment Bank currently requires a talented Commodities focused VP Internal Audit Manager to join their world class function in the City of London. This position is offered on a permanent basis paying in the region of £90,000. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in Commodities Product Control to make a switch to Internal Audit.

Reporting to the Group Head of Internal Audit, the VP Internal Audit Manager will be required to ensure that the Bank has adequate and effective controls in place across Commodities Trading and Capital Markets. You will also play a key role in driving relationships across the Bank as well as management of more junior internal audit personnel.

Suitable candidates must hold a proven track record of successful progression in an Internal Audit / Product Control position in the Investment Banking industry. You should hold good prior experience in the management of audit / product control teams and ideally be accountancy qualified.

A Tier 1 Investment Bank is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join their high performing Internal Audit function in the City of London. Offering unrivalled career progression, this is a chance to add-value to the Risk Management function and utilise your expertise in Credit Risk.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead and deliver individual audits as a Team Leader - a key factor in your success will be your ability to foster strong relationships with stakeholders within the business. Responsibilities will include; contributing to the development of the audit plan through ongoing business risk assessment; writing high quality reports and assist in identifying solutions for identified control issues.

You must have an excellent working knowledge of Credit Risk, including lending processes, policy and procedures, management of problem lending portfolios, insolvency, debt recovery and provisioning. You will have a detailed understanding of the impact of Basel requirements on credit risk.

The ideal candidate will come from a Financial Services Audit background, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, Asset Management and Investment Management will all be considered. A Big 4 background and an ACA or ACCA qualification would enhance an application.

A fast-growing City based Fund Manager with £2 billion under management are looking to take on a Head of Internal Audit in a newly created role. You will report directly into the Board and will oversee the implementation of the Internal Audit function.
